If you send us data via contact form, this data will be stored in the course of the backup on our servers. We will use your data solely in order to process your request. Your data will be kept strictly confidential. A transfer to third parties does not take place.

Personal data

Personal data is information about your person. They include your name, address and email address. You do not have to transmit any personal information in order to visit our website. In some cases we need your name, address and additional information in order to offer you the favoured service.

The same applies if we supply you with information material on request, or if we answer your inquiries. In these cases we will always indicate this to you. Additionally, we only store the data that you have provided automatically or voluntarily.

When you use one of our services, we usually collect only the data that is necessary to provide our service. We may ask you for further information, but providing these is voluntary. Whenever we process personal information, we do so in order to provide you with our service or to pursue our commercial goals.

Automatically stored non-personal data

When you visit our website, we store certain information for administrative and technical reasons. These are: type and version of the browser used, date and time of access, as well as the IP address.

This data is anonymized and solely used for statistical purposes or in order to improve our internet and online services.

This anonymized data is stored separately from personal data on secure systems and can not be assigned to individual persons. This means that your personal information remains protected at all times.

Cookies

When you visit our website, we may store information in the form of cookies on your computer. Cookies are small files that are transferred from an internet server to your browser and then get stored on its hard drive. Only the IP address is stored here – not personal data. The information stored in these cookies allows to automatically recognise you the next time you visit our website, which will facilitate your use.

Of course you can also visit our website without accepting cookies. If you do not want your computer to be recognised the next time you visit, you may also decline to use cookies by changing the settings in your browser to "decline cookies". The respective procedure can be found in the operating instructions of your browser software. However, if you decline the use of cookies, there may be limitations in the use of some areas of our websites.

Using Google Analytics with anonymising function

We use Google Analytics on our site, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA, referred to as "Google". Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", text files that are stored on your computer and thereby allow an analysis of your use of the website.

The information generated by these cookies, such as the time, location and frequency of your website visit including your IP address, is transmitted to Google in the United States and stored there.

On our website, we use Google Analytics with the addition "_gat._anonymizeIp". In this case, your IP address will already be truncated and thus anonymized by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area.

Google will use this information to evaluate your use of our site, to compile reports on our website’s activity, and to provide other services related to website activity and internet usage. Google may also transfer this information to third parties as far as this is required by law or third parties process this data on Google’s behalf.

Google will, according to its own account, in no case associate your IP address with other data held by Google. You can prevent the installation of cookies by adjusting your browser software accordingly; however, we point out that in this case you may not be able to fully use all functions of our website.

In addition, Google offers a deactivation add-on for the most popular browsers, which allows you to better control what information Google collects about the sites you visit. The add-on informs Google Analytics’ JavaScript (ga.js) that no information about the website visit should be transmitted to Google Analytics. However, the Google Analytics Disable add-on does not prevent information from being transmitted to us or any other web analytics services we may use. Further information on the installation of the browser add-on is available via the following link: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de.

If you are visiting our website from a mobile device (smart phone or tablet), you need to click this link  instead to prevent tracking by Google Analytics on this website in the future. This is also possible as an alternative to the above mentioned browser add-on. Clicking the link places an opt-out cookie in your browser that is valid only for this browser and this domain. If you delete the cookies in this browser, the opt-out cookie will also be deleted, so you will need to click the link again.

Vimeo videos

On our website you will find videos embedded via Vimeo.com. This is a service of Vimeo, Inc., 555 West 18th Street, NY, New York 10011, USA ("Vimeo"). Whenever you access any of these videos, a connection to the Vimeo servers in the United States will be established. It is possible that Vimeo will place cookies on your device. This allows Vimeo to use certain services, such as rating or sharing videos. For this purpose you may be required to log in to your Vimeo account (if available) or other social network accounts (e.g. Facebook, Twitter), so that the information you provide can be assigned to your respective user account.

For more information about the collection and use of your data by Vimeo, please read the Vimeo Privacy Policy at https://vimeo.com/privacy.

Publication of job advertisments / online job applications / unsolicited applications

We will collect and process your application data electronically for the purpose of handling the application procedure. If your application results in an employment contract with us, your transmitted data may be stored by us in your personal records for the purpose of the usual organizational and administrative processes in compliance with the relevant legal regulations.

Upon rejection of your job application, the deletion of your transmitted data takes place automatically within two months after announcing the rejection. This does not apply if, due to legal requirements (for example, the burden of proof according to the General Equal Treatment Act), a longer storage is required, or if you have expressly consented to a longer storage in our prospective database.

Security

We have taken technical and administrative security measures to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorized access. All our employees as well as service providers working for us are obliged in accordance with the valid data protection laws.

Whenever we collect and process personal data, it will be encrypted before being transmitted. This means that your data can not be misused by third parties. Our security measures are subject to a continuous improvement process, and our privacy policies are regularly reviewed. Please make sure that you have the most current version.

In any applicable case, please contact us directly.
