Our history spans 50 years of culinary commitment. Since the very beginning, we have pursued the vision of uncompromising quality in our product range and services, internalized and realized this claim over the decades – and keep refining it day by day.
History
Historical years
1971
Foundation and establishment of our party catering service with a beverage wholesale.
The production initially takes place from a restored garage.
1976
Moving into a new company building: The "bunker" at Leyher Straße 56 in Nuremberg.
Installation of a kitchen, a warehouse and commission premises.
Exclusive expansion of the party service range.
1984
Change of name to "Party-Service Jürgen Lehrieder".
1987
Relocation of the company’s headquarters to Karl-Martell-Straße 29 in Nuremberg.
1993
Opening of the "Bistro Forum" at the Germanic National Museum, as well as the restaurant "Essenwein".
René Lehrieder joins the company.
Installation of extensive EDP systems and individual software for an optimized order processing.
1999
Acquisition of 8000m² ground at the industrial park Fürth-Süd.
Construction of a new building for administration, production, warehouse and logistics.
2000
Moving into the new company building at Benno-Strauß-Straße 41 in Fürth.
2002
Nadine Lehrieder joins the company.
2005
The beginning of the engagement as service partner of NürnbergMesse with an own office at NCC Ost.
Expansion of the segments exhibition catering, booth catering, congress / conference catering, booth parties, restaurant catering and catering for mobile outlets.
2006
Business handover to the 2nd generation of Lehrieder.
2007
Staging of the 1st "Lehrieder Trend Event" with celebrity chef Heiko Antoniewicz.
2009
Staging of the 2nd "Lehrieder Trend Event" at NCC Ost.
2011
Reconstruction of the old company headquarters at Karl-Martell-Straße.
Establishing our own event location "Kochstelle".
40th company anniversary.
2012
Opening of the "Kochstelle", our new delight-focused event location in Nuremberg.
2012
Staging of the 3rd “Lehrieder Trend Event” with the motto "Is art edible?" on October 25, 2012 at “Kochstelle”.
2013
Redesign of the penguin logo with a new, more precise style for an adequately classy and distinctive brand image.
2015
Staging the 4th "Lehrieder Trend Event" with the motto "Back to the Roots" at AEG in Nuremberg.
2016
Lehrieder enters into a strategic partnership with NürnbergMesse and becomes the exclusive catering partner at the exhibition grounds.
2021
This strategic orientation has been consistently pursued since 2021 as a subsidiary of NürnbergMesse with around 100 employees.
Thomas Domani joined the management board on 1 August 2021 and now forms the dual leadership of the event and exhibition catering provider together with Dr. Nadine Lehrieder.
